On the 17/08/2020 I booked a delivery reference P2G7691**** for an item I had sold on E-bay
On the 25/08/2020 I made a claim for a non-delivery and in the meantime refunded the purchaser for the item as it had not been delivered
On the 09/09/2020 my claim was rejected stating that "parcel being returned back to the senders address"
The parcel never arrived at my address
On the 20/09/2020 the purchaser kindly notified me that the parcel had eventually been delivered to her address and she then posted the items back to me at her expense as they were no longer of any use to her and I had already refunded her the purchase monies
Unfortunately the claims options on your web site do not allow a decision regarding a case to be challenged and I put this matter to one side until I could find the time to work out how to contact you - which is not easy and only possible after a persistent Google search - not very customer friendly!
In these circumstances I think it would be only fair and reasonable for you to refund me the original cost of postage - £2.90 plus the postage incurred by my purchaser which I also refunded to her of another £2.90. Obviously I am not expecting any compensation for the actual goods themselves as these were returned to me but some gesture of goodwill on your part in recognititon of the problems encountered with this exceedingly late delivery and then the difficulty in finding how to raise a complaint would be much appreciated
